Only one we will use.

Our company goes through 20-25 ink cartridges a month. We will ONLY use original Brother cartridges. Going through Amazon, we do not have to stock a lot of them. Their price is good, and shipping is free, no matter how many we order. It is a win-win for us.

Great quality, super pricing vs. HP ink

When my HP printer finally croaked after three years of use, I did a great deal of research on printers as the ink costs can be prohibitive. We use our home printer a *lot* as we homeschool and find ourselves doing a lot of crafty printables for kids' birthday parties and scouting volunteer projects.

I read a great number of reviews on Brother's quality and very competitive ink prices, and have been very satisfied. There are definitely savings to be recognized by this brand over HP!

Review Of HP 940XL Remanufactured Cartridges (2 Black, 2 Cyan, 2 Magenta, 2 Yellow)

Before purchasing, I called the supplier and asked the following question: Will my Hp Officejet Pro 8000 printer accept these cartridges without all 4 lights being constantly on indicating that each cartridge is almost out of ink? The lady I talked with stated that there is a chip inside each cartridge that must be reset so this wouldn't happen. She also stated that they re-set these chips on all of their remanufactured cartridges.

When I installed the 4 cartridges, all 4 lights came on and they have been on ever since. The black ink works OK but when I try to print in color, the image or character is not even close to what appears on the monitor. Since the customer support person wasn't truthful with me, I feel that Amazon should not be offering these cartridges on their website!

I am not at all satisfied with these remanufactured cartridges and would not recommend them! I tried to go this route to save money as 4 of the original HP cartridges cost more than I paid for the printer. My printer, when using the original 4 cartridges, does an excellent job if you can afford to replace the cartridges as often as I have to. As I print a lot of black and white documents for our prison ministry, I'm also thinking that I might need to replace this HP printer with one that is less expensive to operate. HP's prices for their original cartridges seem to be a big rip-off!!!

Not compatible w/ HP printer

It was too hard to pass up these cartridges since they are so much cheaper than the HP ones. So far, I have only used the black cartidge. It worked fine for a while, then I started having trouble. The printer doesn't seem to recognize this cartridge so it won't print or copy. It will work once if I turn the printer off and back on, but it's really a pain to do that every time I want to print something, esp. since this machine takes a while to shut down and boot up. Not sure why it worked for a while and then stopped, but I probably won't buy any more of these. It's not worth the hassle. The print quality is fine, when it works.

This is an awful product

I thought this was a good buy, however We soon found out that the colors are vastly different from the original HP ink. Also my HP 8500 will not show the status of the ink cartridges. For several days after inserting a cartridge it still sends a warning that its almost empty. The display window shows that that the color is empty. Be aware you get what you pay for!

Very poor product

The ink is poor: colors not ideal, for instance red comes out as orange, green like yellow, etc. Also smears the paper. Would not recommend. Had to replace the cartridges from another source, and ok.

Terrible Cartridges

I bought these cartridges and put them in my printers. My printer would no longer print in color and when doing just black and white, it smeared and some lines of words did not print at all. I'm trying to return them, but the company keeps stalling on giving me a full refund. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

Cheap beyond belief

I couldn't believe the price. I ordered two complete sets for about the same price as one OEM cartridge.
So far I have only used 1 and it works just fine.

They just won't die! My wife has printed dozens of 8 x 10 photos from one set of cartridges. The printer has been wailing about being low on ink for a week now and it just keeps going.

Orientation issues

This is a great printer. My only complaint - orientation. Often times I will print something landscape but it prints portrait thereby cutting off the image. There doesn't seem to be any hard and fast rule to this. So far, I'm batting about 20%. I tried physically changing the paper. It worked at first. But this morning I had landscape selected, loaded the paper landscape and sure enough, the image truncated. A bit humbug.

Easy to use labels for a professional look

I used these labels for all of my save the dates, wedding invites and thank you cards. I've always downloaded the templates from the Avery website using the product number and they work great- I've used them with 2 different printers (one HP and one Epson) and never had any problems with alignment. Please note that these labels have a matte finish and are kind of "frosted" so they are not completely clear- they will not look invisible on top of a coloured surface- but I think they still look great (I used these on gold envelopes) and much better than white labels! It's also a large pack (600) which lasts a long time! Most of all, this whole line of Avery labels saves tons of time from having to write out addresses.

These rock

Use them for the TNP business and they rock. Forget the Word template. Instead use Avery's online easy-to-use design and print program. Can include graphics in it. In about 10 minutes I have great looking labels that printed out with complete alignment in my Canon inkjet printer (I used Transparency setting btw). Then save the file within your web browser as PDF file for later use. What could be easier. Also very easy to take off sheet and they don't smear. Love the Avery 18695. -Nutnfancy

These are okay--not completely clear

These labels are serviceable, and I had no problem using the Word template I downloaded from Avery with my HP Officejet 4500 printer. The labels printed fine and were aligned properly. My main complaint is that they aren't actually clear. They are semi-clear, I guess you could say. Whatever you place them on top of, you can see, but it's as though it's through a murky film. I was hoping for something more transparent.

Nice addition to my M401dw printer

It's nice to be able to load an entire ream of paper at once. Why this printer wasn't designed that way to begin with is beyond me.
Installation took only a couple minutes, the included instructions are completely wordless, just follow the pictures. To summarize: unpack, set the printer on top of the tray, add paper, print.
The tray becomes "tray 3" and becomes the default paper tray, to use the others you have to specify them through the print menu.
No regrets.

Used with LaserJet Pro 400 series. Set the printer on top (After removing I don't know how many piece of protective tape), make any required changes (such as use default or specify paper size, quality, etc.) and away you go. Works with the LaserJets automatic paper selection without any problems. Not as noisy as other underdrawers I have used.

Poor Print Quality

I thought I would give a company not as popular as HP or canon for my next printer. This printer replaced a canon all in one with similar features and price that had the print head go bad. Well it was a mistake. The print quality of both regular documents and photos are not even close to the quality I was used to from my canon or HP before that. It is so bad, I am considering trashing it and just buying an HP.

Don't know if the more expensive Brother's have better quality but this one does not.

Before I bought the Epson PictureMate, I had some of my digital photos printed at the local drug store. Then I took them in to the store where I was going to buy my Picture Mate and asked them to print the same pictures so I could compare the quality.

There was no comparison! The pictures printed by the Epson PictureMate were 100% better than the same pictures when they were printed commercially. So I bought it immediately.

For $29 you get a six jet ink cartridge plus 100 sheets of 4 x 6 paper -- making the cost 29 cents per photo, same as in the store. Epson guarantees that you can print 100 pictures from the ink cartridges. Being somewhat cheap, I have printed several more pictures after the 100 sheets ran out. I did find that the quality on another brand of paper is not as good as on the Epson paper. They probably design the ink and paper to be used together.

I am very satisfied with my Epson PictureMate. We took a long vacation this summer in a travel trailer, and it is compact enough to store easily, and easy enough to use that when I wanted to print up some of my photos I did.

Best Little Photo Printer Ever!

I have owned the Epson PictureMate for the past five months and have printed at least 1000 pictures with it. No other photo printer I have ever owned comes close. The prints are dry coming out of the printer, scratch resistant, and gorgeous. They are equal in quality to 60 cent prints from a photo shop and superior to what you can get at CVS, Costco, or online. I routinely get at least 150 prints from each cartridge (extra paper is available from Epson at $14/100 sheets) so the cost per print is much less that the 29 cents advertised. I have only had to clean the print head once. I use Photoshop Elements to crop and edit all my photos and have never had the cropping problem described in previous reviews. I suspect that some of this my be due to the camera not being set to take 4x6 ratio shots.

A few minor caveats: You MUST use Epson PicureMate paper. Results are poor to fair with anything else. But at these prices, so what. Printing is s--l--o--w. Paper tray is too small.

So close! Almost 5 stars!

I've had this printer for over a month now and I've printed over 100 photos from the cartridge that was provided. I am VERY happy with the quality of the photos. Not only are they sharp but the color is beautiful and saturated. AND the prints are finger print proof!! (I'm very anal about that so this is a huge plus for me.) As a photographer, they're perfect for giving away as self-promotion items. I was able to print directly from my computer (I have an Apple G5) and from a USB flash drive without any problems. I printed a friend's wedding photos in black and white and in color and they couldn't believe it was printed at home.

There are only a couple reasons why I did not give this printer 5 stars. One was the lack of portability. A battery option would have been nice, especially since it is compact and comes with a handle. Also, there is no display to see what you are printing. How can you crop a photo without knowing what you're cropping??

I hope Epson will take these things into consideration and include these options in the next model.

As for those of you who have had problems with the printer cropping your photos when you didn't ask it to, it is because your camera may not be taking 4x6 photos. The printer will fit the photo the best it can but it will have to cut some information out in order to print it on the given size of the paper.

Overall, I am very happy I got this printer. I highly recommend it!

The best looking paper I've used

I use this paper to print out 2.3 to 4 megapixel digital photos on an Epson C44UX printer at 8 x 6. The finish of the paper has a beautiful jeweled look and the paper dries quickly. The colors do not smudge placed inside archival sleeves. In comparison to other papers I have used the past month, it's far superior to Southworth standard glossy paper. Southworth paper actually warps because the gel layer might be too thin or maybe because the paper is cheaply produced -- Southworth paper is essentially paper with a thin coating of something or other. Kodak Premium Photo paper (glossy) was not as good either. The Kodak paper has a cheaper look to it, but maybe it's due to the glossy finish(?). The Kodak paper is also whiter and the colors looked a bit washed out by comparison to the Epson prints. The print output looked like it came from an inkjet printer. Viewed alone, Kodak prints looked okay -- it's when you put them side by side with another paper that's better. HP Premium Plus (glossy) was nearly as good, but the colors also didn't seem to appear as natural. It may have something to do with whatever gel or emulsion Epson is coating this paper with. The results on Epson paper look like photos from the photo lab -- it's hard to believe my forty five buck printer can make this kind of output. Like someone said elsewhere, you can spend hundreds on a high tech printer, but if you get low quality paper, the results are yuck. So, I use my remaining supply of the other papers to print out labels and things, and I use the Epson paper to print out photos that I frame and hang on the wall. This paper is recommended.

Beautiful Paper

I have an Epson 960 Photo Printer. I have tried various Epson photo papers with the printer and this is by far the best. The premium glossy paper was nice but I could see some bands through the image that were barely percepible even when the printer was new. With the Premium Luster paper the ink lays down beautifully and perfectly and the image has what I can only describe in words as a rich feel to it. Paper selection is very personal but if you have not tried this paper you owe it to yourself to run some of it through your printer. There's a good chance you'll be back for more.

I print a lot of pictures in my business. This is by far the best paper I have used. I have several types of printers, Cannon, Epson, HP and this works well with all of them. This is a great deal as far as price goes as well. I did a lot of research to find the least expensive to try this product out and this was the best price and the fastest delivery! Slightly better results than standard color cartridge

I've used the standard color cartridge Lexmark #33 factory (OEM) Color Print Cartridge for lots of photos, with excellent results, but I noticed I had to lighten the images in an image editor before printing them. Even without that step, the photos came out well. With the Photo ink cartridge, that is not a problem; the brightness of the image is fine, and it seems the colors are slightly more true. But unless I had two prints of the same photo, one printed with the standard 33 cartridge, one with this 31 cartridge, it would be hard to tell the difference.

Great dual funtion cartridge for low-end lexmark printers

Always good to have this cartridge in the "black ink" side of the printer so you can go from printing documents (supplies the black ink) to photo printing without having to switch cartridges. Works best when paired with a Lexmark 35 high yield color and it lasts a while too. Don't store them too long, after a year even in a sealed bag you may encounter streaks more often. Watch for marketplace deals on Amazon and you can get these under 20 bucks after shipping. Retail outlets price these too high at 29-33 dollars.

Inexpensive, low-end label printer. Perfect for light personal use.

My primary complaint with this label maker is that it is battery powered only. It takes 6 AA batteries which to me seems like overkill.

The label maker can print up to two lines of text at a time, and displays up to four characters in it's small lcd screen.

It came with 4.3 meters of 9 mm clear tape. Considering I just needed it to label some musical instruments, cell phones, and digital cameras, it suited my needs perfectly.

12mm tape

Good for the money.
There seems to be no advantage to using 12mm tape, as the font size is the same as that used for 9mm.
The included cartridge is shorter than normal cartridges and is black on clear tape (so you will not see label if the objects your labeling are dark color).

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways...

This is my first personal laser printer and I must say Samsung has achieved the impossible with the CLP-325W.

An excellent quality color laser printer, with the easiest network install ever, and a price that made my mouth water - an amazing trifecta!

Okay, with all that hyperbole out of the way...where do I begin?

1. The wireless install was absolutely painless. I powered on the printer, enabled WPS (Wifi Protected Setup) on my router (Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router WNDR3700), and then pressed the WPS button on the printer's console. In less than a minute, my printer was online and a test page rolled out! No hassles with specifying my network SSID or password. This was the first time that I'd used WPS, and was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it went.

2. The software install went just as smoothly. I picked the custom install, opted for the wireless connection, let it search for the printer - which it promptly found, and then installed the printer driver and SmartPanel (which lets you monitor the printer's status) - both of which took less than 42 MB of space. Much much less than what HP printers tend to add to your workstation.

3. The printer's status can be accessed either via Smart Panel, which displays the amount of toner remaining (in %), etc. However, the web browser built into the printer is the bees knees. You can pretty much monitor every single fact about the printer from here. For instance, it tells you the rated capacity of the starter toner cartridges (1000 for black, and 700 for CMY); the usage of the fuser, belts, and rollers; networking information; etc.

4. The quality of the printing is not quite as good as the commercial color printers - but what were you expecting? The quality of photos and print however met and even exceeded my expectations. Text is very crisp and sharp even down to 8 points, and photos are very pleasing when rendered.

5. You do need 4 toner cartridges (C, M, Y, K) - but these seem to be reasonably priced compared to the competition, and are also easily available on Amazon. For e.g., Samsung Cyan Toner Cartridge for CLP-325W and CLX-3185FW (CLT-C407S).

Other comments:
############
1. The smell for the first night is foul - and strangely enervating/nauseating. Fortunately it dissipates fairly quickly.

2. The user manual supplied with the printer is pitiful. A better one is available on the CD. Interestingly, while the manual didn't display at all in Chrome, it worked fine in IE and Firefox.

3. Ditto for the web browser on the printer. Use IE for a problem free experience.

In conclusion - this might very well be one of the best value-for-money printers out there. I was torn between this one and the HP 1525, but the lower price on this unit, and the reviews on its predecessor (the CLP-315W) tilted the balance in its favor.

I'll update this review should I encounter any problems, but for now I'm a very happy camper.

Updated 03/20:
When this printer's local IP address changes (usually when I reset my router, or also when I unplugged the printer to move it to a new location), my applications can no longer detect the printer. In such cases, the easiest fix is to re-run the 'Samsung Printers > Samsung CLP-320 Series > Maintenance' program installed during printer setup. This will locate the printer at its new address on the network.

A better solution, if your router supports it, is to use DHCP Address Reservation to reserve an IP address for this printer.

Very interesting

Compared to color lasers of the past, this one's a champ in size, ease of use, cost and image quality. That said, the Samsung customer service system is ...ah... primitive. As is the cost structure for feeding the thing after purchase. Toner replacement costs and a new image drum exceed the cost of a new one, by about 170%, yet are only acout 160% more images per set. The carts that come in it are good for about 700 images (color). New ones are good for 1000, they say. A full set of CMYK carts is about $220, and a new drum is around $50, if you need it (at about 10000 pix). But a whole new printer is just $150-ish. The math is all &$@%¥£!!

If the toner carts were reload able for $30 each, the thing would make more sense. Third party toner powder replacement? Messy and most likely lower performance. Do the google.

When I had a problem, I used the Samsung site's customer service system. No reply AT ALL. Nothing. Confirmation that they received it was on the transmission page, but no reply.

Avoid super thick paper. Use premium heavy laser paper, please. Images can be very nice--near ink jet to most viewers. Colors are only a tad lower in vibrance than photo ink jet. It will take a great deal of testing to get used to how it portrays things. Dark images EAT toner quicker. Cost per sheet is in the $0.25 range initially. that's toner + paper computed against bargain initial cost.
You might shave a few cents off that with replacement carts, but not much.

Bottom line: it will be great while it lasts.

Note. Seller was fine. Samsung gets the low star rating.

Printer was OK whike it worked, customer support is non-existent

I bought this printer because I was looking for a cheap color laser printer. Overall the reviews were fairly positive. It worked like a charm...for 4 months. Then it indicated I was low on black toner. I bought black toner, and turned the printer back on. What was a flashing red light turned solid, and the printer would not print. I contacted customer suppoort online. They told me to clean the printer and send them the serial number on the toner to make sure I was using genuine Samsung cartridge. I did that. The problem did not go away. The Smartpanel software gave me a "Home Dev. Error" message and I contacted customer support again. Then finally after 6 weeks of waiting for a response, I contacted them again, telling them how disappointed I was the lack of response and how I would like to get the problem resolved preferably before warranty runs out. So they gave me a link for requesting service. I clicked on it, filled the form out, clicked to send it, and guess what...online service requesting is not available for my product. What? The page said to call a 800 number. By this time I was so incensed I sent thm another message, telling them they have wasted enough of my time, and that all their consumers should be able to avail of online service requests. I said I was not going to call the number, and that I prefer to let people know how seriously badly they treat customers.

Canon Compatible Ink Cartridges for MG6120 Printer

An excellent bargain for less than $5.00 for the complete set; I bought two sets and even with the shipping ($4.00) the total cost was far below what one set would cost elsewhere.

Also, the merchandise arrived before the email saying it had shipped arrived.

After that, it was just peel the tape and pop the cartridge(s) in to make my printer happy again!

I would heartily recommend this vendor and this product to anyone who is interested.

I have been using previous versions for at least 6 years. This one has three major changes: 1. No external power supply, it is included in the body, 2. The serial port is now 9pin not 25pin as the older ones, 3. No dip switches to set, I guess it is autosensing. The USB port is a bonus.

What can I say?

It's standard printer ink for many Canon printers. I've never had a problem with this ink set, which normally would cost over $10 more elsewhere ($50 + tax).
Good price and good product.

Does exactly what it says....

I've had the cartridge in my Brother 1440 for about a month and haven't run into any problems. It fits well, works well, and does exactly what it claims. I'm happy with the price as well as the quality.

Exactly as described

Very satisfied. Ink Cartridge arrived in timley fashion and was exactly as described. Breathed new life into a 6 year old printer providing "new out of the box" looking printouts. Great value for the money.

Not Working Well

Just after 2 weeks ; printer started to give me warning of change the Toner; it was suppose to be for atleast 10000pages which is normally for us more than a year.I put OEM brand new by Brother- costs 3 times than this but no issues. So i am not sure when they recycle if they have a proper calibration or QA testing for refilled toners?

Quick and easy set up allow for a nice inexpensive shelf

We ordered this shelving unit when we purchased the HP CP2025DN Color LaserJet Printer to organize our storage/printer space. It has turned out to be a nice addition. The shelves are veneered MDF, but it does hold the weight of the printer on the top shelf without any problems and is strong enough to hold additional paper and supplies on the other shelves.
The set up was relatively simple and the directions were easy to understand if you've ever had to assemble flat-pack furniture before. The the only issue was regarding inserting the casters with the locks, it took two of us about 20 minutes and a bit of elbow grease to force them into the pre-drilled holes.
Overall it is an attractive, sturdy shelving unit that can be easily moved on it's casters.

Goes Together . . . Mostly

The Instructions: Pictures without text on what to do is just as bad as text without pictures. Give me explanitory text with the pictures in understandable english.

So, following the pictures and doing this step by step, I just put this mostly together. It went together pretty well until I got to the screws that hold the top shelf on. The last screw hole didn't line up. There are embeded nuts in the wooden shelves that the screws go in. So, no drilling. I managed to force it . . . just.

Then, thinking I was just about done, I went to put the casters on the pins that I attached way back in the first step. Really, those should have been put on just before putting on the casters themselves. Or, trying to put the casters on. They keep falling off. If those things are supposed click in place and stay . . . they don't. As soon as I get three on and try to put the fourth on, one or more of the others fall off.

I may have to forgo having a movable printer stand and take those caster pins off the bottom and just let it sit there. I suppose it'll put deep indentations in the carpeting. Oh well . . . .

TREMENDOUSLY DISAPPOINTED

Just received this unit, and half of it is already constructed. That would be a good thing, except the half that's been built directly covers the holes for the screws that hold up the shelves, which is kinda the whole reason I purchased this in the first place. In fact, the completed parts are, according to the instructions, the absolute LAST thing you should put together. Worse, they're hot-glued into position, so there's not a lot of opportunity to deconstruct it and reconstruct it properly. Thanks for nothing, guys; expect a return in the morning.
